This blog is an attempt at non-communication. This sounds strange, but let me explain. If the dominant mode of communication is submission to the principalities and powers, then this site is an attempt to slip through the cracks. My hope with “A Failure to Communicate” is to provide a space within and yet exterior to this kind of submissive communication. It is only is in finding a way to fail to communicate within these modes (e.g. bowing the knee to Caesar) that we will be able to hear and speak a different kind of Word. I invite you to fail with me.

The frontispiece is called “Listening to the Earth” by Robert ParkeHarrison and can be found in his collection entitled The Architect’s Brother.

Nice one! I wish you’d continue to write. Intellectualizing faith is noone’s favorite past time these days.
